Many companies are currently working on strategies to leverage participation for greater sustainability. klimaaktiv therefore invited pact partners to a workshop on 17 November, 2024. The one-day workshop entitled “Every Job is a Green Job – Taking Responsibility for a Green Future Together” covered the spectrum from theoretical benefits to practical implementation and current good practices.

In her keynote speech, Marion Zöchbauer focused on the success factors of employee participation: Active participation plays a key role in supporting corporate climate goals.

She presented the key areas of focus in her work and demonstrated how, for instance, a fact-based climate debate can succeed on the basis of comprehensive analysis. One of the most engaging topics in the subsequent round of talks was the question of how to bridge the gap between emotional and rational discourse. It should be noted that the valuable resources provided by the KONTEXT Institute are available for use and sharing.

Following the conclusion of the official proceedings, attendees were invited to enjoy a buffet lunch, during which new contacts were made and engaging conversations took place.
